Gravenhurst Plastics has been producing polyethylene pipe, drainage tubing and associated products at our Gravenhurst, Ontario facility since 1968. Founded by George Beard, the company achieved a steady and continual growth, requiring 3 major expansions to the plant since we first opened our doors. Additionally in 1992, Gravenhurst Plastics acquired Temiskaming Plastics Ltd. located in Earlton, Ontario. Together these two plants have the capability and strategically located to service the entire Province of Ontario and beyond.

Gravenhurst Plastics began with a single extrusion machine, gradually expanding its facilities to include injection molding and blow molding. GP has evolved from producing low to medium density polyethylene pipe, to a variety of products including:

• corrugated drainage tubing and corrugated fittings used in the construction industry;

• coilable high density polyethylene duct (Polyduct) used in the communication industry;

As well as the above, Gravenhurst Plastics produces drill hole casings, loading sticks and flag tubes used in the mining industry, high density sod rollers, lawn edging, rose collars, trellises and rain spouts used for home and gardens, fishing rod cases, golf tubes and battery boxes for the recreation industry
